High-Efficiency Inorganic Epoxy - FineShot
In cooperation with the Erewhon Chemical Company

The high-efficiency inorganic epoxy FineShot
is the injection epoxy to use for fracutures
containing moisture or floating sections.
General-purpose cement epoxies may have
problems with adhesion, water repellency, and
injection quality due to coarse particle size.
Because this product is a micromolecular emulsion of
ultrafine cement particles and special agents to
control shrinkage, working life, dispersion and
water repellancy, it displays superior results for
injection usability, adhesion, waterproofing, and
similar applications.

Characteristics

Useability
Dispersion and water-repelling agents
complement the main ingredient of ultrafine cement
resulting in good fluidity despite the low moisture content
and the possiblity of injections into the finest of
fractures.
Although mixtures of ultrafine cement usually have
a short working life, it can be adjusted through
the addition of various special agents (up to one
hour max).

Water Permeability
Water permeation is controlled by a water
resistant film that forms as the emulsion dries
as well as by the unification from the Ca-SiO2-H2O
gel generated in a reaction between the added
pozzolan and calcium ions in the concrete.

Strength
Along with the hydration hardening of
the activated ultrafine cement and gelation of
the emulsion, long-term strength is enhanced
by the pozzolan reaction.

Shrinkage
Shrinkage is controlled through the
addition of a special agent with the
same particle size as ultrafine cement .

Corrosion Resistance
Through the use of polymers, this product
resists corrosion from groundwater, seawater,
and chemical agents.

<Attention>
1 Please use clean water for mixing.
2 The working life of FineShot is adjusted
to be 1 hour at 30 C.
3 Mix thoroughly using a powered mixer.
Place the calculated volume of water
and resin into the mixer and add the
powder while mixing.
4 Air bubbles may form during mixing.
Before beginning the injection,
remove as many air bubbles as possible.
5 Inject water to verify cleanliness and
injection routes.
